PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIFORMS

District 218 will require all students to wear a school uniform for physical education, effective with the 2011-12 school year. Students may wear uniforms they have from previous school years, otherwise uniforms may be purchased at the bookstore during regular registration dates. Uniforms may purchased in the athletic office, every morning from 7:40 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., and every afternoon from 3:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. These are the only times that uniforms will be sold. Uniforms will not be sold throughout the day. Prices are as follows:

- Shirt & Shorts: Sizes S-XL = $20.00; Sizes 2XL = $22.00; 3XL = $24.00

ATHLETIC FORMS

All athletes must have the following forms on file prior to trying out for any sport: IHSA Physical Form, Parent Permission Card and the Student Athlete Contract. You can download these forms by accessing the Athletic Forms Folder under "Cardinal Documents".

National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA)

National High School Coaches Association developed a special website to assist all high school student athletes that are planning to attend college and possibly continue their athletic career. The website is free and has everything the student athlete needs to know from start to finish. The website addresses admission procedures, financial aid, required state and federal forms, work study jobs, different types of scholarships, as well as NCAA recruiting rules, NCAA compliance, etc. There are also many tips that will assist the student athlete in dealing with college visits.
